St Peter’s Roost is a smart, modern town house arranged over three floors just a stone throw from exclusive the Sandbanks. You will find us in a quiet, leafy road, nestling in the heart of lively Ashley Cross in Poole, which has a wonderful village feel. Everything tumbles around the Green: upmarket shops, cocktail bars, juice bars, pubs and coffee hang outs as well as a vast range of cosmopolitan eateries. It is the ideal spot to tour the Purbecks and Jurassic Coast, Hardy's Wessex. the New Forest and even allows for days trips to the Isle of Wight.
We are both dog and baby friendly. Longer stays welcomed.

Things To Do
Iconic Beaches
Sandbanks beach with white sand, kite surfing nd beach polo. Don't miss Rick Steins and the dog friendly Jazz Cafe. Hengistbury Head boasts a stunning cliff walk and nature reserve and beach huts tumble along the spit.
Whitecliff, Baiter & Poole Park
Three parks-in-one stretching from Poole Quay to Whitecliff yacht club. Excellent playgrounds, mini train, watersports, pedal boats and tennis courts. Take a boat trip round the Islands and explore Browsea.
Bournemouth Pier & the Chines
The Pier boasts climbing walls and a zip wire and is right by Bournemouth Gardens and the Observatory Wheel. from there you can explore the four famous chines that wend through gardens and rives down to the sea.
The Purbecks & Jurassic Coast
Take the ferry from Sandbanks to Studland sand dunes beaches then on to Corfe Castle stopping at the Square & Compass iconic pub. Lulworth Cove is a must.
Farm Parks and Swanneries.
There is so much for young children to do from Farmers Palmers park to the Abbotsbury Swannery and gardens. Moors Valley has great adventure playgrounds and high trees challenge at Go Ape
Horse Riding & Watersports
There are excellent stables in Bovington stables for superb tuition Studland Stables for an exciting beach ride. Or try sailing , kite surfing, kayaking or paddle-boarding at Sandbanks.
